NOVEMBER APPLICATIONS OPEN 10/31 FROM 9AM - 5PM
VITAL awards Financial Support Memberships using a lottery system. All applicants will have 1 day to apply for each application period, the final day of the month, and the 14th of the month. The application opens at 9am and closes at 5pm. Applications will not be accepted on any other days.
This program is intended to make climbing and fitness more accessible and to support members of our community who are experiencing genuine financial hardship. Funds are limited and recipients are determined via a randomized lottery. Financial Support recipients will be notified on the first of the month (ex. apply on 10/31 for November, receive an email on 11/1 awarding support). To make sure these limited funds are being used, we have a strict "use it or lose it" policy. If a spot is not activated by the deadline, it is revoked and added back to the pool for the next restock, the 15th of the month.
We trust that you will read all questions carefully and respond honestly about your current situation when submitting your request. Please only apply once to your preferred home gym, and choose the level of support that you truly need.
NOTE: Purchasing a FSP membership does not cancel your current membership. To avoid being charged for your original autopayment, cancel your contract online.
Important Deadlines:
Apply on the final day of the month for a chance to receive support on the 1st of the month.
If you are awarded funds on the 1st of the month, you must activate your membership by the 14th.
Apply on the 14th of the month for a chance to receive support on the 15th of the month.
If you are awarded funds on the 15th of the month, you must activate your membership by the last day of the month.
If you miss your activation window, your approval will be revoked and your spot will be restocked.
