Join us for specialized workshops to help hone your aerial, yoga, fitness, and climbing skills!

HOOP FUNDAMENTALS & FLOW

Come learn the fundamentals of Aerial Hoop and how to flow them together.

Prerequisites: You must be able to invert in the air to take this workshop. No ground warmup will be led during this workshop. You must be comfortable arriving to the gym early and warming your body up as needed.

No refunds/credits will be given for classes missed.

ROPE FUNDAMENTALS

This workshop is geared toward beginner or advanced beginner silks students who are interested in an introduction to basic rope techniques. In fact, you’ve already had an introduction—because there’s already a lot that transfers between these two vertical apparatuses. But rope behaves a bit differently, and there’s an emphasis on different building blocks. Here’s a chance to experience these differences and to further explore the things rope has an affinity for that might be new to you. We’ll begin to learn about different kinds of beats, climbs, foundational shapes like back balances and front balances, and weird fun moves. Using the rope’s resistance and dynamism, we will learn to build strength, energy, and flow. Get to know the rope, and get to know yourself on the rope!

Prerequisites: N/A; open to all levels
