General Info
-
Climbers are only eligible for onsight finals if they register as ‘Open’ competitors.
Competitors have 2 hours to finish the 5 hardest boulder problems they can.
Only the top 5 scores will be counted towards climbers’ score total.
Every climb is numbered on the start holds, and each corresponding point value can be found on the scorecard.
Competitors must attempt each problem from the start holds every time. Working moves in isolation, or starting in the middle of a climb is not allowed.
A climb is finished when the competitor shows control with both hands on the marked finish hold(s), or over the top of the wall if there is no marked finish. Climbs on the topout boulder must be completed by topping out.
In order for a top to count, climbers need two witness initials on the scorecard.
Competitors may try a boulder as many times as they want .
Every fall must be tallied the scorecard for each climb.
If a competitor flashes a climb (completes the climb on first try), write "1" in the falls column for that climb.
Competitors will be given a warning when time is about to end.
Climbers still on the wall when time expires are allowed to finish their attempt.
Every competitor must scan the QR code on the back of their scorecard and enter their top 5 highest scores.
Any errors on a scorecard may result in disqualification.
-
A competitors score is determined by the accumulation of points of completed climbs during their session.
The number of attempts are recorded to settle any ties.
Each completed climb must be verified by two witnesses’ signatures on your scorecard for the climb to count.
Only the top 5 scores will be counted towards climbers’ score total.
Every competitor must scan the QR code on the back of their scorecard and enter their top 5 highest scores.
Failure to scar and add score may result in a disqualification.
-
We reserve the right to bump any competitor into a higher category based on performance.
If your final score is higher than the average score of the category above you, you will be bumped.
-
The top 5 competitors with the highest scores who competed in the open category will compete in onsight finals
